Photo Gallery | Lexington County Sheriff Promotes Six Officers

Lexington County Sheriff James R. Metts promoted one Lexington County Sheriff’s Department deputy to serve as the supervisor of the Traffic Division, two deputies to serve as officers in the Traffic Division, two deputies to serve as field training officers on road patrol shifts and one deputy to serve as the resident deputy for the Red Bank community.

Metts promoted Sgt. Brad White, 35, of West Columbia, to supervise the Traffic Division. White previously served as the supervisor of a road patrol shift in the North Region Patrol District, which is based near Irmo. On August 14, 2006, Metts appointed White to serve as a deputy.

Metts promoted Joshua Anderson, 24, of Lexington, to serve as a deputy in the Traffic Division. Anderson previously served as a road patrol deputy in the South Region Patrol District, which is based in Pelion. On December 13, 2010, Metts appointed Anderson to serve as a deputy.

Metts promoted Johnathan Silcox, 38, of Lexington, to serve as a deputy in the Traffic Division. Silcox previously served as a road patrol deputy in the South Region Patrol District. On December 3, 2011, Metts appointed Silcox to serve as a deputy.

Metts promoted Tyler Couch, 24, of Lexington, to serve as a field training officer on a road patrol shift in the West Region Patrol District, which is based near Gilbert. Couch previously served as a road patrol deputy in the West Region. On August 23, 2010, Metts appointed Couch to serve as a deputy.

Metts promoted Scott Morris, 29, of Chapin, to serve as a field training officer on a road patrol shift in the South Region Patrol District.                                                                                              

Morris previously served as a road patrol deputy in the South Region Patrol District. On October 19, 2009, Metts appointed Morris to serve as a deputy.

Metts promoted Darren Wiseman, 35, of Lexington, to serve as the resident deputy for the Red Bank community. Wiseman previously served as a road patrol deputy in the South Region Patrol District. On September 19, 2011, Metts appointed Wiseman to serve as a deputy.
