Photo Gallery | “Canning for the Holidays” Class
“Basics of Pressure and Water Bath Canning for the Holidays” will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 10:00-2:00. The class will be at the Lexington Extension Office, 605 West Main Street, Suite 109, Lexington, SC 29072. Cost is $30. Nancy Harrison, Clemson Extension Agent, will teach.
Class includes an introduction to principles for safely preserving fruits and vegetables by pressure or boiling water bath canning and participation in a canning demonstration. Gift ideas for canned and pickled items for the holidays will be discussed.
