As a Gaston man remains in the hospital after he was shot multiple times in the head, Lexington County investigators have arrested four people in connection to the incident.
Sheriff James Metts says deputies arrested 20-year-old Courtney Lynn Posey, 19-year-old Bobby George Sightler, 32-year-old Jody James Stukes, and 26-year-old Xanthe Amanda Smith.
Investigators believe Stukes and Sightler shot 19-year-old Caleb Rowell three times in the head while Posey watched in a wooded area near Lord and Tucker Court.
Officials say Posey was once "romantically involved" with Rowell.
Stukes, Sightler, and Posey have all been charged with attempted murder. Smith, meanwhile, was hit with an obstruction of justice charge because Metts says she tried to hide the weapon used in the incident.
Rowell is expected to recover from the multiple wounds he received.
