Lexington County Resident Enters the Clerk of Court Race | Community Spirit

Local community activist Joan Waggoner Guy launched her campaign Wednesday for Lexington County Clerk of Court at the new Lexington County Courthouse.

Joan Waggoner Guy has been a resident of Lexington for the past 25 years and has over 15 years of managerial experience in nursing. She currently works for the State of South Carolina and Lexington Medical Center in the nursing field and hopes to bring that care and compassion to the County Clerk's office.

Mrs. Guy is entering the race because she wants to restore order to the County Clerk's Office. Her plan is to forge a new path forward by overcoming previous debacles and creating a streamlined process for those in need of service.
