KOMO Communities hosts 'Pet-o-ween' photo contest

KOMO Communities knows the kiddos and kids at heart aren't the only ones that like to strut around in creative costumes.

As communities across Western Washington gear up for a night of fright we want to see how your pet plans to participate. Do they have a favorite superhero, cartoon character, or funny face to show off this year?

We are hosting a 'Pet-o-ween' photo contest - showcasing pets of all breeds, ages, and personalities dressed up to celebrate Halloween.

Readers are encouraged to send pet costume photos to communities@komonews.com. Make sure to include the neighborhood you live in, your pet's name, and your name.

KOMO Communities will post the photos here and viewers will have a chance to tell us which one is their favorite.

The photo with the most comments by Friday, November 2, will be crowned King or Queen of Halloween, and enjoy lots of bragging rights.

Send in your photos and start commenting.

Which community has the craziest, cutest, most creative pet costumes? You decide.

Everyone leaves a 'wiener' at red carpet dog rally

STAR 101.5's Kent and Allen hosted a red carpet rally ahead of the 14th Annual Kent and Allen Wiener Dog Race at the Emerald Downs this Saturday.

Today was the last chance to nab two spots for the final race.

Congratulations goes to Piper and Jacob for winning the last two spots, and go on to have a chance at winning a weekend of accommodations at a Kimpton hotel, two year’s worth of dog treats, and, of course, guaranteed spot in next year’s Kent & Alan Wiener Dog Races.
