Lexington County Sheriff James R. Metts on Tuesday, March 5 presented the Sheriff’s Medal, which is the highest law enforcement honor that the sheriff can bestow, to one veteran Lexington County Sheriff’s Department deputy who recently retired.

Lexington County School District One Superintendent Karen Woodward announces that Jim “Coach” Harpe, coordinator of the district’s alternative program, FOCUS, plans to retire effective June 30, 2013.

Lexington One names Nurse of the Year

 

Lexington County School District One Superintendent Karen Woodward and Lexington One’s Lead Nurse Jessica Porter congratulate Meadow Glen Elementary School Nurse Joan Branning for being selected as Lexington One’s Nurse of the Year. 

 

Branning has served as a school nurse for five years and has previously worked at Midway Elementary.
