Lexington One announces one administrator promotion | News
At the April 16, 2013 regular monthly meeting of the Lexington County School District One Board of Trustees, the board approved one other administrative promotion effective July 1, 2013.
The district is promoting Sandra P. Vining to assistant principal at White Knoll High School.
Vining, who currently works as assistant administrator at Lexington High School, has 16 years of educational experience.
She began her career as a school psychologist with the Department of Juvenile Justice in 1997. She joined Lexington One in 1998 as school psychologist serving multiple schools. She became administrative assistant/psychologist at Pelion High in 2009 and was promoted to assistant administrator at Lexington High School in 2011.
Vining received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the College of Charleston, a master’s degree in psychology and an education specialist certification in school psychology from The Citadel, and her master’s degree in educational administration and supervision from the University of South Carolina.
She is a member of the National Association of Secondary School Principals, Palmetto State Teachers Association, South Carolina Association of School Administrators, South Carolina Association of School Psychologists and Delta Kappa Gamma.
