GHS yearbook staff receives Scholastic Press award | News

Gilbert High’s yearbook staff received a Palmetto Award from the South Carolina Scholastic Press Association.

The school’s yearbook, known as the “Gilbertine,” received the award for the best yearbook in class 2A in the state.  Yearbook staff member and student Caroline Thompson earned first place in spot photography for her photographs used in the yearbook.
