Lexington One teachers receive Michelin Golden Apple Teacher Grants | News

At the January Lexington County School District One Board of Trustees meeting, representatives from the Lexington One Educational Foundation and the Michelin North America Lexington site presented the 2013 Spring Michelin Golden Apple Teacher Grants.

Michelin funded 10 grants totaling $2,500. The most recent recipients include: Jena Sherban from Carolina Springs Elementary; Carol Crout, Anedra Kelson and Amie Saunders from Carolina Springs Middle; Sharmen Oswald from Gilbert Middle; Denese Harris from Gilbert Primary; Theresa Johnson from Lexington Elementary; Angie Enlow and Jeanne McKinney from Meadow Glen Elementary; Susan Cathey from Midway Elementary; Angela List from Pleasant Hill Middle; and Denise Salters from White Knoll High.

Two times each school year, the Lexington One Educational Foundation and the Michelin North America Lexington site award Michelin Golden Apple Teacher grants.
