Crash kills pedestrian in Lexington County
LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC (WIS)- The South Carolina Highway Patrol says a pedestrian was hit by a car and killed Friday night in Lexington County.
Troopers say 56-year-old Julius Presley of Gaston was walking in the middle of US 321 near Gaston when he was hit by a vehicle at about 8:20 p.m. Friday.
Presley died at the scene from what Lexington County Coroner Harry Harman says was severe trauma to his head and body.
Troopers say they do not expect to charge the driver.
