LMS student chosen as state essay contest winner | News
Lexington County School District One Superintendent Karen Woodward and Lexington Middle Journalism Teacher Kathy Resener congratulate Regan Hendrix for winning first place in the S.C. State Fair Greatest Grandparents Essay contest.
Hendrix wrote the essay about her grandmother, Gloria Griffin, in her journalism class. This is the second year that a student in Resener’s journalism class has won the contest.
The State Fair organization received more than 15,000 entries in the 26th year of this annual competition.
