Officer of the Year | News

The Lexington Police Department recently presented Earron Sturges the “2012 Officer of the Year” award.  As stated by his peers in their nominations, “Cpl. Sturges is a supervisor who leads by example, who is always willing to help others and well respected by his subordinates. 

Earron started with the Lexington Police Department in 2005 as a Patrol Officer.  In 2008 he was assigned to the Criminal Investigation Division.  In 2009 he was promoted to Corporal in the Patrol Division where he continues to severe today.    He is a member of the departments Emergency Service Team and is a Field Training Officer.

For his hard work and dedication to the Lexington Police Department, we are proud to announce Ronnie Sturges as Lexington Police Department’s 2012 Officer of the Year.
