Lexington One teachers receive MCEC Bright Ideas grants

Several Lexington One teachers received Mid-Carolina Electric Cooperative (MCEC) Bright Ideas grants.

This year’s grant recipients include: Tamela Jett from Carolina Springs Elementary; Candice Garcia-Elliot and Shaney Mahaffey from Forts Pond Elementary; Tricia Hood, Kristen Rhymer and Lynn Robertson from Lexinngton Elementary; Angela Enlow, Shannon Frye and Debra Vernon from Meadow Glen Elementary; Mandy Drew, Dee Dee Manning and Janice Roseburgh from Rocky Creek Elementary; and Mark Bonnette and Jonny Thompson from White Knoll High.

MCEC’s Bright Ideas grants help teachers energize instruction by providing funds for innovative classroom activities.
