Report: His House burglarized, several tools stolen | Crime

The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a burglary at a local thrift shop.

The report said on January 30 deputies responded to His House located at 4357 Augusta Road in reference to a break-in.

Upon arrival, officers met with an employee who stated several tools were stolen from a locked workroom at the business. Deputies say the shed was located behind a secured gate.

According to sheriff’s deputies, the suspect gained entry into the business through a small window located in the back of the shed.

Deputies say the suspect stole a skil saw, a jigsaw, two sanders, a hand truck and a 100ft. extension cord.

Deputies continue to investigate.
