Report: ‘Don’t point the gun at my mommy’ | Crime
The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is searching for two suspects they say invaded a Swansea home on Sunday.
The report said officers were dispatched to Whetstone Road in reference to a home invasion.
Upon arrival, officers met with the 25-year-old victim, who was crying hysterically while holding two of her four children that were also present, the report stated.
According to sheriff’s deputies, the mother was washing up her baby when she heard a thumping sound. The victim went to check out the sound and discovered two men standing in the living room wearing ski masks.
Deputies say one of the suspects pulled out a gun, and pointed it at the victim while demanding money. The mother told deputies at one point her son came into the living room and told the suspect with the gun “don’t point that gun at my mommy”. That’s when the suspect turned the gun on the child.
The victim reported the suspects stole her broken Xbox, two games, a purse and a cell phone.
The report said both suspects fled the scene towards the woods.
Deputies say the first suspect is described as a black male, 5’11, last seen wearing all black and a black ski mask with sunglasses covering his eyes.
The second suspect is a white male last seen wearing all black and a black ski mask with a red ring around the left eye.
