Report: Suspects smash out front glass door, steal lottery tickets, cigarettes | Crime

The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is searching for three suspects they say burglarized a local business.

According to the incident report, on Oct. 23, officers responded to City Gas located on Bush River Road in response to a burglar alarm.

When deputies arrived on the scene they found the glass front door of the business smashed out, the report stated.

The owner of the store arrived a short time later and gave officers access to the store’s surveillance video, according to sheriff’s deputies.

On the video, three suspects were seen approaching the store from the adjacent parking lot.

Deputies say one suspect acted as a lookout, while the other two forced their way into the business by smashing a glass door. The lookout then followed the other two inside the store.

Once inside, the suspects loaded lottery tickets and packs of cigarettes into a plastic bag, then fled the scene, the report stated.

Deputies say the suspects left through the front door towards Zimalcrest Drive.

The report said suspect number one is a white male, 25-35 years of age with brown shaggy hair, clean shaven and a stocky build. He was last seen wearing khaki pants, gray and black jacket and gray hat.

Suspect number two is a black male, 20-30 years of age with black hair and a full beard. He was last seen wearing a dark colored jacket with brown fur lining on the hood. He also had a dark colored ski cap and dark colored pants.

Suspect number three is a black male, unknown age with a taller and slimmer build than suspect number two. He was last seen wearing a gray jacket, dark colored pants, white hockey mask and gloves, the report stated.
