Deputies: Woman arrested, portable meth lab seized | Crime
The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department arrested a woman they say was trying to conceal a portable methamphetamine laboratory.
Around 11 p.m. on Tuesday, September 25, deputies responded to a call for a suspicious vehicle at 110 Old Sugar Hill Road.
Upon arrival, officers observed three suspicious individuals near the vehicle, according to sheriff’s deputies.
After questioning the group, deputies say they noticed 35-year-old Jamie Leann Reinhardt attempting to conceal something in some nearby brush, the report stated.
Deputies say they discovered that Reinhardt was attempting to hide materials used to manufacture methamphetamine.
Reinhardt was arrested and transported to the Lexington County Detention Center.
Upon arrival at the detention center, Reinhardt also admitted to having a bag of marijuana in her possession.
Reinhardt is charged with manufacturing of methamphetamine and simple possession of marijuana.
