Deputies: Neighbor witnesses man breaking into home | Crime
The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department arrested a Swansea man they say burglarized a home and stole prescription medications, firearms, electronics, and other property.
According to sheriff’s deputies, on Tuesday, September 18, officers arrested 21-year-old Alexander Nathanael Owens on an arrest warrant that alleges he broke into a home on Pineview Drive near Swansea.
Deputies say officers responded to a burglary call around 6 a.m. at the Pineview Drive residence after a neighbor spotted Owens attempting to break into a home in the early hours of the morning.
Upon arrival, officers located Owens and took him into custody, the report stated.
Deputies say a search of Owens’ nearby home revealed the stolen goods.
Owens was arrested and charged with first degree burglary.
