Report: Woman brags on Facebook about destroying ex-boyfriend’s belongings

A 27-year-old Lexington woman vandalized her ex-boyfriend’s belongings and then went on Facebook to brag about it, according to sheriff’s deputies.

According to a Lexington County Sheriff’s Department incident report, deputies responded to a civil disturbance call at a home located on Oron Court on April 27.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the 30-year-old victim who stated that his ex-girlfriend came by his house yesterday to pick up some of her belongings, the report stated. While inside the home, the ex-girlfriend poured vegetable oil all over the pool table, broke pool sticks, threw billiard balls around the residence and broke several doors, according to the report.

Deputies say the man told officers that his ex-girlfriend never lived at the home, but occasionally spent the night.

The victim also showed officers Facebook messages where the woman was bragging about destroying his belongings, the report stated.

The estimated damage is $500.

The incident remains under investigation.
