The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a group of  thieves who's using one of the oldest tricks in the book to steal cigarettes from a local store.

According to the report, deputies are searching for five suspects, two females and three males, they say used a distraction technique to aid them in theft of nine cartons of cigarettes from Pantry Express located on Saint Andrews Road in Lexington County.

On May 10, around 6 p.m. the group entered the store.

The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is searching for a suspect who they say stole clothing from a Dollar General store.
