LCSD to host Christmas Holiday Drop-In | Community Spirit

Lexington County Sheriff James R. Metts will host his annual Christmas Holiday Drop-In between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 6 in the Squad Room at the Lexington County James R. Metts Law Enforcement Complex, 521 Gibson Road, Lexington.

Light refreshments will be served. Santa Claus will greet children who are in attendance.

Metts encourages persons who attend the Christmas Drop-In to bring non-perishable food items or new, unwrapped toys for donation to the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department Holiday Food and Toy Drive. Food and toys that are donated to the Sheriff’s Department will be distributed to persons in Lexington County who are in need of assistance.

The holiday food and toy drive reflects the Sheriff’s Department mission of providing professional law enforcement services that enhance the quality of life for all people in Lexington County.
