LMES supports Harvest Hope
Lake Murray Elementary’s Empty Bowl Project raised more than 4,500 pounds of canned goods for Harvest Hope Food Bank.
For the project, each homeroom teacher made a ceramic bowl to symbolize a family in need. The student who brought in the most canned goods received their homeroom teacher’s bowl.
Sidney Covington received a bowl made by LMES Art Teacher Anita Grigg for bringing in the most canned goods of all the students at the school.
