The student council used the Carolina/Clemson rivalry to motivate students to donate canned goods. Students brought in items to show support for their favorite team. Students donated a total of 636 food items, 339 by Carolina fans and 297 by Clemson fans.
The PACE food bank provides food items to individuals and households in the Pelion area in an effort to prevent hunger.
