His House Ministries | Consignment/Thrift Stores

Visit one of His House Ministries four thrift stores and you will find a “Pickers Paradise”! Not only are most clothes $1 each but whatever you need to purchase, you can always find it at one of our thrift stores at a great price. Furniture, books, pictures, windows, doors, light fixtures, mattresses, household items and much more are for sale – and the inventory changes daily! As you visit our stores, you will find a Christian shopping environment and will be given an opportunity to leave your prayer requests. Rev. Garland Ramsey founded His House Ministries in 1974. God gave him a vision for taking things that were being discarded and using them to change the lives of homeless and alcoholic men. Thus, a Thrift Store, Grace Men’s Program and Men’s Mission were established. When Rev. Roger Weaver joined the ministry in 1991, he brought a renewal of the vision for the spiritual development of the programs. The influence of the Gospel of Jesus Christ was built into every phase of activity and Meeting Street Chapel was established as a place of worship for the participants of the Grace Men’ Program. Services are held daily at 7am, Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30pm, and Sunday at 10am. The Chapel is located at 775 Meeting Street and is open to the community. You can always find a bargain at any one of the four thrift stores, and all your purchases support the rehabilitation programs. His House Ministries receives NO federal, local or United Way funding, but is supported solely on donations of used items that can be sold in our thrift stores. You may drop off donations at any location, or call our dispatcher at 791-0557, ext. 201 to arrange for a pick-up. All donations are tax exempt.
